The Christian life is lived in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit Makes You More like God

He is the power that sustains, energizes, and keeps you on the righteous path. You can have confidence in the Holy Spirit as you will never be alone.

The work of the Holy Spirit in your life as a Christian is a never-ending process of becoming holy through sanctification. Sanctification is a critical process for a believer as it sheds you from the old and in with the new person. To be sanctified means purification of sin and maturing spiritually to become more Christ-like. It is through the power of the Spirit that faithful followers of God will not indulge the sinful acts of flesh rather will bear the good fruit. The Holy Spirit has not only lives in your heart but sets you free from sin and reminds you to follow Jesus more closely. 

The Holy Spirit Guides to All Truths

Jesus Christ has told His disciples the Holy Spirit would know what He hears and would only speak what the Father speaks. He is the truth, and it is the truth that can set you free. Free from sin, spiritual death, and loneliness. “However, when He, the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13). The Spirit speaks to your hearts and leads you in the right direction when you learn to listen. He acts as a still, small voice that is heard within. 

The Holy Spirit Uses You for Evangelism

The Holy Spirit works in two ways: to empower you as witnesses and use the gospel to bring about belief. Having the Holy Spirit means having the power to be a witness. In Colossians 4:3-4, Paul gave personal prayer request to the churches for evangelistic opportunities and clarity of speech. Telling others about Jesus and what He did for everyone on the cross, this boldness is the work of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit uses you as a vessel for spreading the good news.
